1. The book signing today at Byer's St. Housewares in Staunton. I'll be there 2:30 to 4:30. Hope to see some of you there.
2. Finally got the tree up last night.
3. A friend of mine dropping me a message: Did you always run? I don't
remember that about you at all. No. Running is new. I had to walk my
dog every morning–so I decided to make it count more and run. Once the
girls are on the bus, Tink and I take off. It's not about weight loss
or competition, it's about taking care of myself, doing everything I
can to make sure I'm around for a long time–for my girls and myself.
4. I love the way music is playing in my ear and all I have to do is
put one foot in front the other. Once I step foot in the house, there
are a million things to take care of.
5. New York City in February. I hope to meet some of my friends that
I've only met online. How cool will that be? It will also be cool to
maybe see some old friends, but I won't be there long. I'm thinking of
taking the train from DC to NY. So maybe I can see some folks in DC, as
well, depending on the schedule.
