Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. Running in the sprinkles. Ni-ice.

2. Rhiannon. Ohhhh. I love Stevie Nicks.

3. Edits, blog posts, book writing. which first?

4. Going to Reston on Saturday to sign books at Angela’s Happy Stamper. WOOT!

5. Oh, Reston, I sometimes miss you, with all of your culture and running trails and shops. But then I remember the traffic…

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. If I could bottle this weather…what a perfect morning for a run. Nice cool breeze and warm sun.

2. I still don’t know what a disco stick is. Is it a euphemism? Or is there a disco stick? Hmmm.

3. I missed Stevie Nicks on the voice last night. I tuned in too late. I’ve never watched it before. I really liked the young lady who came in second place.

4. I can not believe I forgot about Yoga class last night. Yep. I am undone by summer and we have a ways too go yet. Scary to think of what I’ll be like by the end of July.

5. Brunch with friends today. Looking forward to it.

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. Here I am listening to Tori Amos again in the morning. That's usually
not a good thing. But I can't help myself.
2. I need to get some Stevie on my Ipod. I was also thinking The Cars
would have some great songs to run to. Blondie, too.
3. It was so nice to go to Christy's for a little while yesterday and
eat some wonderful cake and see my friends.
4. All of a sudden, I am even busier with a new Grit assignment, my
blog, and my proofreading gig. On top of everything else…
5. Still no word from the dr. on my hip. It only hurts a little. I will
call her today.

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. The jackassery of John Edwards.
2. My niece Carly landing a job at Ann Taylor corp headquarters in NYC.
Yay. I'm so excited for her. My mom is not happy about it. I'm not sure
how my sister feels–she is probably not happy either. I'm sure it's
not easy to have your kids grow up and move away from home. But I think
a lot depends on the way you handle it. (Easy for me to say, right?) My
mom is still quite bitter about me leaving. She brought it up again
yesterday. (And at this point I've lived in Va. longer than I lived in
Pa.)
3. I missed the Grammys last night. I'm fighting a cold and went to bed
early. I'm sure I'll see the highlights on youtube–but I'm sorry I
missed Stevie.
4. Had a dream about Jennifer Feller last night.
5. Tess and Emma are thrilled there's no school today. I'm happy they
are a little older and I will still be able to snuggle with them AND
get some work done. Got some work in this morning.
