Today, I’ve been meeting with Mike and emailing back and forth with our publicist. We are getting dates lined up for the promotional events for “Mrs. Rowe’s Restaurant Cookbook: A Lifetime of Recipes from the Shenandoah Valley”. As I get more specifics, I will post. The schedule is fluid and might change, but I’ll update.
Here is what we have so far:
Sept. 27–Book Roll-out party/special at Mrs. Rowe’s Restaurant and Bakery, Staunton, Va.
Sept 30/Oct. 1–The Fortune-Williams Music Festival, Frontier Culture Museum, Staunton, Va. The restaurant will have a food and book booth. We will sign books.
Oct. 14–The Bookstack, Staunton, Va., 1-3 p.m.
Oct. 21-22–Private group booking at Fort Lewis Lodge. (Yes, I am/we are somewhat available for private group bookings.)
Nov. 11–Barnes and Noble, Harrisonburg, Va.
Stay tune for information on lovely a Wade’s Mill event, Raphine, Va., where there will be a demo, luncheon, and a book signing.
In addition, the restaurant is firming up plans to run a Christmas dessert event, featuring the down-home sweet-treats from the cookbook.
