The Bookstack— SOLD OUT!

I received a phone call from Suzi Armstrong, owner of the Bookstack, Staunton, yesterday. She said, “I have good news and bad news. The good news is I sold out of the book completely. The bad news is we are losing sales because we can’t get the book in fast enough. Do you have any books?” Well, I had my “Book’em” stash. I drove over my 20 books to Staunton, which is no easy feat. It’s a beautiful town, but it has so many one-way streets and no parking signs that is makes me want to scream. I could not park far away from the Bookstack because the boxes of books are heavy. So, I parked in a no parking zone in front of the store and unloaded, wishing I had the time to browse.
This afternoon, I am scheduled to be at a press conference for Book’em. I have no idea how long that will be or what is expected of me. Guess I’ll show up and pretend I know what’s happening.
