Cookbooks, Mrs. Rowe · November 10, 2006

Barnes and Noble–Harrisonburg

Tomorrow, we’ll be at Barnes and Noble in Harrisonburg, Va., for a booksigning and cookie tasting. Several neighbors and friends have been to the bookstore this week and report that they have an incredible display at the store. There was a good article in the News Leader (Staunton) on Wednesday and I am hopeful that it will help bring in some crowds to purchase books.
I’ve been so sick all week and finally got to see a doctor this morning. We are not sure if I have a sinus infection or an allergy attack. So, he’s treating both and we’ll soon find out if I am allergic to my new puppy.
Last weekend, I was on quite a high after seeing a write up in Country Living’s Holiday issue about the Mrs. Rowe’s Restaurant Cookbook: A Lifetime of Recipes from the Shenandoah Valley. This weekend, my spirits are bouyed by the all of the possiblity tomorrow brings.
I’ll check in later.
