On to Roanoke

Tomorrow, I will be at the Raleigh Court Library in Roanoke promoting the “Mrs.Rowe Cookbook: A Lifetime of Recipes from the Shenandoah Valley.” I am very exctied about this event because the library has been so wonderful and supportive. The staff has worked really hard at promoting. If nobody shows up, it won’t be for lack of trying. There’s a great write-up in the Roanoke paper today about the event. They’ve given the book the front page of their library newsletter (17 libraries…); they’ve printed book marks, and alerted the press. They are also serving pie from the restaurant. A local tv station will be there taping. (Am I ready for that?)
