Mollie Cox Bryan

i mollie, i run · September 22, 2009

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. Pretty little white feather on the road this morning.
2. Look at those huge puffy clouds sweeping over the mountains.
3. Our meeting yesterday at the school about Emma. Interesting to find out that many ADHD symptoms present themselves when kids don't get enough sleep. Emma has never been a good sleeper. Well, once she's asleep, she sleeps..but getting to sleep, not so good.  Seems like a good place to start.
4. Losing my News Leader gig. It's hard to swallow. But I have so many other things in my life to be grateful for–I am not going to sweat it. I'm focusing on the good, on finding new and better ways. My cookbooks are doing well. I think I'm on the verge of selling a novel. I continue to write essays for WVTF, No complaints.
5. The back of my ankles really hurt this morning. Maybe I need new shoes.
