Mollie Cox Bryan

i mollie, i run · October 7, 2009

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. Getting a phone call out of the blue from my sister inviting us to go to Alaska with her and her family. I'm expecting the brochure any day. So we are thinking Alaska with them or England?
Once we sit down at look at expenses, it will probably be neither. Still it's nice thought to go on this big family vacation together. It's never happened before in my family.
2. Smelling–but not seeing–skunk again today. We seem to be inundated with wildlife these days. There's a groundhog and a skunk living under our shed in harmony. Or so it seems.
3. Waking up at 4 a.m. drenched in sweat. Okay. Was it hormones or was I just dressed too warm?
4. What a lovely breeze. Not too cold. Kind of balmy, actually. I think the sound it makes at it moves through the trees.
5. Getting out of the house today. Checking off my list of things to do…
