Mollie Cox Bryan

i mollie, i run · October 14, 2009

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. Will everybody be off to work and school today? REALLY?
2. Placing the cookbook options on the back burner. My memoir proposal
will be making the rounds to publishers. (So that's two books I have on
the market, looking for a publisher.)
3. Really cold out here this morning.
4. Hope I can keep the headache away today. Two days of headaches.
5. Meeting a friend at Starbucks yesterday morning, even though I
should have been working. She's having a bit of a rough time and
sometimes you just have to drop it all and be there. While I was in
Starbucks, I saw three other very good friends. Ni-ice. (Kristi, Beth
and Cort.) It seems like Starbucks is where all the retired men hang
out. I'm thinking their wives probably kick them out a few days a week.
They look kind of lost. But they spread out all over the tiny cafe. One
man per table.
