i mollie, i run · October 16, 2009

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. Not seeing the guys who run this morning. Maybe it's too cold for them?
2. Bright red and crimson leaves on the dark pavement this morning. So beautiful.
3. Talking with Mike DiGrassie yesterday. (The owner of Mrs. Rowe's) He's already sold more than 1,000 pie books. I think there may be another Rowe book (or two)  in the works. Stay tuned on that.
4.  So many sick people. A friend of mine is in the hospital with pneumonia–his whole family has been sick with the swine flu. (Billy Johnson–for those of you who know him.)
5. When I tried to run before, when I lived in Reston, I found the repetition boring. Now I find it soothing. One space in the day where all I have to do is put one foot in front of the other and listen to my music.
