i mollie, i run · November 3, 2009

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. I figured out how to cha-cha and run at the same time. Hips Don't Lie. How could you NOT dance when it comes on your ipod?
2. Talking about running last night with Dawn and Kathy. I realized that I REALLY don't care what people who drive by or are looking out their windows think about me as I move along the road. It's about me–not them–and they need to mind their own business.
3. Cha-cha is kind of a good metaphor my my run. One big step forward, three small steps back ward. Add a little hip in there. There you have it.
4. My new novel I started as part of National Novel Writing month. I've been thinking about it a long time. Working title "Maggie Rae's Scrapbook." Moving right along.
5. Going in to C-ville on Friday to record another radio essay.
