Mollie Cox Bryan

i mollie, i run · December 24, 2009

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. Okay. It's friggin cold out here. I'm only running half way.
2. It looks ominous as I place one foot in front of the other, it's
with a great amount of faith and drive. I can't see where I'm going.
The fog is dense and my glasses are steamy from my breath.
3. But still, it feels great. My heart is pounding and I've a little sweat going.
4. The girls were coloring quietly when I left the house. I told them
it's too late, Santa already knows if you've been bad or good.
5. Do you know one of my fav Christmas songs? The Bell that couldn't
jingle. Have you heard it? Herb Alpert recorded a version of it. (My
mom is a big Herb fan.) And I just love it.
