2. My niece Carly landing a job at Ann Taylor corp headquarters in NYC.
Yay. I'm so excited for her. My mom is not happy about it. I'm not sure
how my sister feels–she is probably not happy either. I'm sure it's
not easy to have your kids grow up and move away from home. But I think
a lot depends on the way you handle it. (Easy for me to say, right?) My
mom is still quite bitter about me leaving. She brought it up again
yesterday. (And at this point I've lived in Va. longer than I lived in
Pa.)
3. I missed the Grammys last night. I'm fighting a cold and went to bed
early. I'm sure I'll see the highlights on youtube–but I'm sorry I
missed Stevie.
4. Had a dream about Jennifer Feller last night.
5. Tess and Emma are thrilled there's no school today. I'm happy they
are a little older and I will still be able to snuggle with them AND
get some work done. Got some work in this morning.
