Mollie Cox Bryan

i mollie, i run · February 27, 2010

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. It's a gorgeous day for a run—blue and white and crisp.
2. Can't wait to get my web cam. That should be fun.
3. I am exhausted. No, I don't mean the kind of exhaustion you can get
rid of by sleeping. It's the kind that's bone deep and needs a few days
on hot white sand with ocean sounds filling my head. That ain't gonna
happen anytime soon.
4. So, I really need this gathering with my girlfriends tonight and I'm
so looking forward to just hanging out, away from my computer, my
house, my work, and my family–who I love to spend time with, of
course, but sometimes it's just good to be alone with friends.
5. So the cake book project has been tabled. I am relieved–it was
going to be a hard spring with a deadline of June bearing down on me.
And I am still promoting the pie book.
