i mollie, i run · April 27, 2010

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. "If you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills, will the landslide bring you down?"
2. My field of wildflowers is bursting with different shades of green and so many textures. A little puff of yellow here and there. If I were a painter or photographer, I  think this field could keep me occupied forever. Just one field in the middle of hosing developments…
3. I was talking about my Bleeding Heart and how much I love it. Eric reminded me that my sister-in-law bought it for me last year at the museum's May Day Festival (coming up this weekend). It's actually from Monticello. Me and TJ, what can I say? lol.
4. My new blog post–have you seen it? Have you subscribed? I'd love your comments.  If you click on that feed burner thing at the very bottom, you will automatically get updates. http://www.molliecoxbryan.com/kitchenqueenoffishpotroad/
5. I am thinking about my youngest daughter turning 9 next week. Bittersweet, you know. I almost lost my life having her. She has been worth the struggle. It took me two years before I could walk around the block without losing my breath. Now, I am running. She is flourishing. Life is good.

That’s so sweet… they always are worth the risk, but it means something special when you feel it in your soul.
