Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. A rejection on Maggie Rae yesterday–but in the same email from my
agent was a hopeful note from another editor who is "in pursuit" of it.
Now, that said, I am trying to not get my hopes up because he has to
take it through a variety of other levels. It can make it to the last
level and be rejected.
2. Finished reading The Piano Teacher last night and I thought it was
really good.
3. Life is not all about pie. Still, pie has been very good to me and
it's sooo delicious. 😉
4. Chatting with an old friend last night–on the phone. Yes, they still
exist, though mine rarely rings, unless it's a solicitor.
