Mollie Cox Bryan

i mollie, i run · August 15, 2010

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. The clouds around the mountains look like lavender whipped cream.

2. Wearing my new sexy running shoes this morning. Rack Room Shoes. Great sale.

3. Okay. I felt a rain drop. That's nice. We need rain badly. And I usually love running in the rain.

4.
But I wish I'd been prepared for this–being caught in a deluge,
really. I wouldn't mind, except I can't see because of the rain on my
glasses.

4. Sorry new shoes, hope you get a full run in tomorrow. 😉

It’s raining here and — even though I’d planned to work in the garden all morning — I am delighted by the precipitation. Picking tomatoes and basil can wait.
