Mollie Cox Bryan

i mollie, i run · August 26, 2010

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. "Let the story be told. Let them say what they want."

2. Great morning for a run.

3. My neighbor who is the same age I am was rushed to the hospital two nights ago because her arm swelled twice its size. Blood clot. Her doctor said it was from repetitive weight lifting. A few years ago, she made a major lifestyle change and began to excercise and eat well. Joined Weight Watchers and a gym. This is the second time she's been rushed to the hospital since then. The first time, it was her heart.

4. I bet that feels like a kick in the gut. To do everything "right" and for this to be happening anyway.

5. I am feeling grateful that she will be ok and that I am healthy and strong.
