Blog, i mollie, i run · November 7, 2010

Five things I thought about during my morning run:

1. So many people think I’m in New York. I’m getting lots of emails. No. I was just shoe shopping for my trip to NY. I’m leaving a week from Tues. I need to get the shoes because I need to get my pants hemmed. Argh.

2. People want to know what shows I’m seeing. Seriously? I’ve not seen a show in NY since I was 12 and my grandmother took me there for my birthday. Who can afford that?

3. I am in meetings. And in between meetings, I’ll be taking in the sights, just walking around, and trying to find cheap food and oh yeah, pie. 😉 Hopefully I’ll get some visits in.

4.This week’s schedule. Man. It’s going to be rough. Emma’s in rehearsal for Alice in Wonderland every night from 7:30-9:30, which means she won’t be home until after ten.The show is Thurs. and Fri.

5. .Then we will have a few days to chill before I have my gig on Tues then I’m off to NY.

If you have time, I recommend popping into Magnolia Bakery for a cupcake. I know of at least three locations — one in midtown, just south of the park, one just west of the park, and another one in (I believe) Grand Central Station’s food court.

Also, if your girls are into Lego, there’s a fun shop at Rockefeller Plaza.

Thanks, Jen. I’m not sure about cupcakes. I don’t think I can handle cupcakes AND pie. And I am sort of on a pie mission. I’ve heard about Magnolia, of course, and have heard about long lines to get a few cupcakes. Goodness.

Hey this post is very interesting. I’ll use it for my blog :). Can you tell me some related articles that I can read too?
