Now I’m just remembering all the stuff about me using quotes from the “Pie Song” from Waitress. Pulled at the end–right before it was sent to press–because of the lawyers. It used to be you could quote songs and poems and so on, as long as there was proper attribution and it wasn’t the the whole thing. Now I’m kind of worried about Maggie Rae’s Scrapbooks and Scrapbook of Shadows. I quote Leaves of Grass throughout both books. Oye.
