Five things I thought about during my morning walk:

1. Brisk. Blue. Beautiful.

2. I like walking to the top of this hill every now and then. It reminds me how far I’ve come in 9 years time. It used to be I couldn’t walk up the hill without pausing a few times to catch my breath. Now I walk up the hill quickly, barely breaking a sweat.

3. I am usually a forward-looking person. I don’t dwell on the past much. But sometimes it’s good to reflect. Even bad decisions bring you to the place you are and for me, it’s a great place, though not without a bit of insecurity and angst.

4. So you know I’ve been on these hormones. I wear these nifty little patches on my lower stomach. So yesterday was a day that I change my patch and I realized I’ve had TWO of them on!!! Hahaha. Jeez.

5. So Emma came home with a lot of stories about her Valentine’s Dance and her night of sleepover with her friend Gracie. She was exhausted yesterday. Heh. That rarely happens.
