Last week, we met with Alice Mannette of Staunton’s Daily News Leader. Mike was fishing at the Outer Banks, so Mary Lou, his wife, took his place during the interview. I enjoyed talking with Alice, who called me several times after that to check on different things. She did an awesome job on the article, which made it to the front page. The photo was taken at the original counter of the restaurant. It’s one of my favorite spots.
